We are dedicated to serving the needs of vulnerable families through capacity building and promoƟng
transformation of their lives. Our emphasis is on interventions that will provide as much long-term and
sustainable impact as possible.
We ensure that everyone has equal opportunity, rights and respect regardless of gender, race, ethnicity,
religion or ability.
We believe in join participation, shared goals and mutual accountability. We affirm our interdependence and willingness to yield autonomy as necessary for the common good. We are willing to seek opinions and guidance and to receive feedback. We partner with the community, national and county government agencies, NGO’s, humanitarian organisations, the Chamber of Commerce, faithbased organisations, donors, and the private sector
We carry out our operations in a transparent manner, providing value for money on project activities that can easily be assessed and we can be held accountable for. We have good financial controls and audit procedures.
We provide psycho-social support for vulnerable children, youth and families by ensuring they receive their basic rights through cognitive, physical, emotional and spiritual growth.
We are prepared to deal with life-threatening emergencies. We strive to provide an efficient and effective response to problems.
We aim to provide solutions that will have long term impact for our beneficiaries, providing them with sustainable livelihoods and encouraging self-reliance. We favor solutions that can break the poverty cycle, strengthen families, and prevent the influx of children and youths to the streets. We also try to design programmes that allow us to ‘scale-up/scale-down’ ring-fenced projects to cushion the overall organization from serious impact if we lose the donor to a particular project by having different donors for different project with a number of donors contributing to core costs.
